Attention moms! Can we have your attention please? To everyone who likes to brag about giving birth to 8, 9, even 10-lb. babies, we advise you keep quiet around Ani from Indonesia. The woman recently delivered a 19.2-lb. bruiser, the heaviest newborn ever recorded in the country.

Ani’s epic delivery scored a lot of attention in the Search box. After the “Today” show ran a segment and Al Roker and Matt Lauer made some lighthearted jokes, lookups on “19 pound baby,” “indonesian baby,” and “heaviest baby ever” all spiked immediately.

And pictures? Oh my, the baby’s pictures were also hugely popular. Queries for “19 pound baby photos” jumped from nil into the thousands, and photos within Yahoo! News are drawing big clicks. Not surprisingly, the baby is said to require “near constant feeding.”

For those wondering if this baby boy (as of yet unnamed, but we suggest “Hulk”) is the heaviest newborn in history, the answer is no. The record belongs to an American infant born in 1879. He weighed 23 pounds, 12 ounces. Sadly, he died a few hours after being born. An ABC station reports that the heaviest baby to survive weighed 22 lbs., 8 ounces. We sure hope the big guy was always extra-nice to his mother

PARIS (AFP) – French archaeologists have discovered the oldest known place of worship dedicated to the dugong, or sea cow, on an island just north of Dubai, two research centres said Thursday.

The sanctuary believed to date back to 3,500 to 3,200 years BC was discovered on Akab island in the United Arab Emirates, 50 kilometres (30 miles) north of Dubai.

The French archaeological mission in the Emirates and the Umm al-Quwain museum there said in the specialist magazine Antiquity that the sanctuary on the deserted island provided key details “on the rituals of prehistoric coastal societies in the Gulf.”

Akab was a tuna fisherman’s village more than 6,500 years ago with circular buildings and a pile of dugong bones detected in the 1990s.

The scientifically named “Dugong dugon” still exists in the Gulf, with adults growing up to four metres (12 feet) long and weighing up to 400 kilogrammes (880 pounds).

The sanctuary was first thought to be an abattoir but on analysis was found to be a carefully constructed platform on two levels containing the remains of around 40 dugongs as well as tools, stones and ornaments.

The archeologists said the Akab monument was used for rituals celebrating the giant mammal and “has no parallel in neolithic times in other parts of the world.”

Similar structures have been found off the Australian coast but are only several hundred years old.

First, we want to know the characteristics and behavior of a beaver. Beavers are generally nocturnal, active at night. They are active year round. These animals are semiaquatic, living partly on land and partly in water, and are graceful moving about in water. They use their webbed feet and paddle-like tails to swim.

Beavers are hard workers and are considered the engineers of the animal kingdom because of the complex dams and lodges they build. Dams can be extensive, reaching over 10 feet (3 meters) high and stretching hundreds of feet long. A typical dam is 65 to 98 feet (20 to 30 meters) long. Mud and stones may set the foundation, base, for the dam. Brush and poles are added with the butt ends facing upstream, and mud, stones, and soggy vegetation are used as plaster on top of the poles. A dam is built higher than the water level. With maintenance and upkeep, dams are used by several generations of beavers.

Now, in this modern age we are living in; God used many ministers, evangelists, preachers using heavenly gifts and considered them as men of the living God. But you know what it does to throw a log in a channel, what does it? All kinds of dirt hit against this log and washes up. And first thing you know, you got all the water backed up, like the beavers do, and make a dam, and you got nothing to go through it.

We got too many beaver preachers today, trying to dam all the water up, and say, “This is ours. This is just us here. This belongs to us.” And what happens to it? It becomes stagnated. That’s what’s the matter with a lot of our organizations, trying to back up the water for your organization only. It’s got stagnated. You know stagnated water gets these little wiggle tails in it. That’s what the matter with the Church is today: a little wiggle in here and wiggle out there. Everything… “Days of miracles are past. No such a thing as divine healing.” Stagnated water, beaver’s dam!

“We must blow it out” the water, the Word of God that cleanses us should flow continually. In PSALMS 147:18
18 He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, [and] the waters flow.

I’m merely just a mouthpiece for Him. Moses was just a mouthpiece for Him. And Jesus was a Mouthpiece for God. And He died to redeem us sinners, that the program of God might be carried on down through the age through the church. And ministers that are consecrated to God, become channels where God can speak through, preach the Gospel, heal the sick, show signs and wonders.

The churches, when they organize their churches, the things they do, they block off the blessings of God by their theology, which God cannot break through to bless His people. They get their church so formal, so stiff and so starchy till the Holy Spirit can’t come into the church. Here in ROMANS 15:29 Paul says “And I am sure that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.”

Be ministers that stand on the Word of God! And not a beaver preachers!

Pope admits he will visit the “Holy Land”, therefore the whole church recognize that there is neither its land nor country that is holy than God, the God that made flesh and born on a chosen nation Israel. (Not the Vatican City)

God always deals as a nation to Israel, but He deals individually for the gentiles. This trip seemed to have a perfect scripture that says when the world declares peace sudden destruction will come.

In I THESSALONIANS 5:2-3
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

The world will have peace when Jesus Christ reigns over the earth! How could there be peace on earth can you see the news today? There are many crimes, wars, immoralities, addiction, gambling etc. Is that peace that he pronounce?

There is no man that can give peace, God only!

27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

VATICAN CITY – Pope Benedict XVI said Sunday he would visit the Holy Land from May 8-15 in the first papal trip to the area since 2000.

Announcing the dates of the long-planned pilgrimage, the pope said he would go to sites Jesus visited and would pray for “the precious gift of unity and peace for the Middle East and all of humanity.”

Benedict told a crowd gathered in St. Peter’s Square for the traditional noontime blessing that he was asking the faithful for their spiritual support for the Holy Land pilgrimage and a trip to Africa from March 17-23.

America in history was the largest country that had so many religious organizations. In fact, many of them believe to be a blessed country, “God bless America” is what they say. Why they are blessed? Simply because many men of God like evangelists, preachers even the prophet in our age came from America, the 20th century prophet.

William Branham that came from Kentucky was his name. But as of today that name wasn’t really known in this generation. They rejected God’s Message! They replace God’s Word with the things of the world and their own interpretation of the Word. The current economic crisis in America is one of their penalties for rejecting God’s perfect will.

The Bible is the Word of God in Book form. It contains thoughts that are eternal, every chapters and every verses. It has power to transform men from sinner to saints. Our absolute! Our Basis! Don’t changed it!

Psalms 19:7-10

Two new Bibles targeting a young, hip — even secular — audience are hitting bookstores. One is a slick, illustrated version of the New Testament; the other is an environmentally friendly edition that takes advantage of the popularity of the green movement.

A Peek Inside ‘The Book’

First, the flashy coffee-table Bible: Dag Soderberg, a secular Swedish advertising executive wondered why so few people actually read the “good book,” so he set out to make it more appealing, with glossy photos and magazine packaging. The resulting publication is an illustrated version of the New Testament called Bible Illuminated: The Book.

“A coffee-table magazine is read by the many everyday, everywhere,” explains Soderberg. “This is a way to make [the Bible] as available as any other magazine.”

If you didn’t know this was a Bible you might think The Book was a “goth” magazine, or perhaps something you’d find in a doctor’s office. The front cover is a close-up of a translucent green eye, caked with black makeup and staring eerily from the page. On the back is a photo of a faceless figure wearing a black hooded sweat shirt.

Inside, photos of celebrities like Angelina Jolie, Bono and John Lennon are interspersed with pictures of heroic figures like Nelson Mandela, Mother Teresa and Martin Luther King, Jr. A veil-covered African woman holding a young child illustrates the story of Mary and Jesus. Images taken from the news — both jarring and poignant — radiate a message of social justice.

United Methodist minister and Hacking Christianity blogger Jeremy Smith says The Book is meant to provoke discussion.

Smith points to the series of images that run in conjunction with a quote from the Book of Revelation. The quote reads: “The whole earth was amazed and followed the beast …” The photographs show post-Katrina New Orleans, a four-page spread of an animal slaughterhouse in Nigeria and, finally, a picture of a man pumping gas.

“They are interpreting this with some very political and edgy and — honestly — some disorienting imagery,” says Smith.

Though skeptical when he first heard about the book, Smith says he found many of the images compelling. But equally compelling, he says, is another new Bible that takes a completely different approach.

The Green Book

With its beige cloth cover, embossed with a picture of a green tree, The Green Bible is the embodiment of simplicity. Inside, passages that refer to the environment are highlighted in green.

Smith says the book catches people’s attention: “I took it to a Bible study and set it down on the table and people looked at it and said, ‘What is that?’”

Mark Tauber, the senior vice president at HarperOne, which publishes The Green Bible, says that the book is important in both form and function.

“The actual form of the Bible, we think, is a green product,” he says, noting that the entire book is made of recyclable materials. “Then in function, it performs the function of helping people be better stewards, if you will.”

Smith points out that while The Book seeks to begin a conversation, The Green Bible wants “to add to the conversation.”

“Did Jesus say anything about recycling? Did God care what we do with the earth? These are the existing conversations that are emerging that I think The Green Bible contributes to,” says Smith.

The book is drawing attention in secular venues, including the Earth First Web site, where bloggers offered unusual praise, which Tauber paraphrases as: “Those crazy wacko religious people … if you have to believe there is something beyond this life, this is probably a good Bible for you to read.”

“It was this backhanded compliment from people not known for being so friendly to people of faith,” says Tauber.

Both The Green Bible and The Book are aimed at the young. But Soderberg says that when the illuminated Bible was published in Sweden, it appealed beyond its target audience. In fact, he says, the publisher expanded the market by almost 50 percent in a year.

And Soderberg says there is no question that a new conversation about the Bible is under way in a lot of unexpected places.

He says he’s seen people in offices that are very strict talking about the Bible, “because everybody flips through this magazine. … That’s cool.”

And an illuminated version of the Old Testament is in the works. Soderberg says it will be published in the U.S. in the spring of 2009 — just in time for Easter.

Disgraced pastor returns, as Christian businessman

Earlier this month, a guest took the pulpit at Open Bible Fellowship in Morrison, Ill., a 350-member church surrounded by cornfields. The speaker was an insurance salesman from Colorado named Ted Haggard.

The former superstar pastor, disgraced two years ago in a sex-and-drugs scandal, had returned — this time as a Christian businessman preaching a message that was equal parts contrition and defiance. Haggard linked his fall to being molested in second grade and apologized again.

His two sermons were posted, fleetingly, on Haggard’s Web site under one word: “Alive!”

While his exact plans remain unclear, Haggard is unmistakably making himself a public figure again, nine months after his former church said he walked away from an oversight process meant to restore him.

The man who confessed to being a “a deceiver and a liar” is asking for another hearing, finding encouragement from a loyal circle of supporters, skepticism from those evangelical leaders who think it’s premature and complex emotions at the Colorado Springs church he betrayed.

Also in Hebrews 6 says that it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, made partakers of the heavenly gift (partakers of the Holy Spirit in heavenly calling), tasted the good Word of God and world–power of the world to come; if they shall fall away, to renew themselves again to repentance; seeing that they crucify themselves afresh the Son of God, and count the Blood wherewith they was sanctified an unholy thing.

When God sends great something to the earth, He announces it by Angels. Angel announced the birth of Jesus.  When anything’s going to happen on the earth, first, God sends a messenger. And an Angel anoints that messenger. Now, sometimes minor Angels comes. There are minor Angels and major Angels. Now, this Angel that came was Gabriel, Who stands in the Presence of God. That was something major. And He came down. And when Gabriel comes from heaven, remember something’s going to happen. Gabriel announced the first coming of Jesus; Gabriel will announce the Second Coming of Jesus. The trump of God shall sound first–an Angel.

Angels has always been ministering spirits that’s sent to the church. All through the apostolic age, they had ministering Angels that went with the apostles, the disciples. Is that right? And most always, they appeared to them in a form of Light. Is that right? A Light shined down upon Paul (Is that true?), blinded him. Peter was in the prison, and a Light shined in, the Angel of the Lord, and told him. Many different places in the Scriptures refer to them as a Light through the Pillar of Fire that followed the children of Israel: a Pillar of Fire. Any Bible teacher knows that the Angel that led Israel was the Angel of the Covenant (Is that right?), which was Christ. Amen.

I want you to know that that Angel of God is no more to do with me that it is to do with you. That it’s an Angel sent down from heaven. And if you don’t believe Angels are ministering Spirits sent from the Presence of God, then you don’t know the Bible.

An Angel showed John the whole Book of Revelations. “I, Jesus, have sent My Angel to testify.” Is that right? So Angels are ministering Spirits, usually come in the form of lights.

Science says there is another life beyond earth, they are presuming that there are aliens, UFO’s or something but God give life only here on earth. They are not UFO’s but visiting angels!

After years of being unnoticed and silence, this nation was now very active to go for the oil. It can invade countries, which supplies large supplies of oil even lead and start a third world war.

Not until Russia can revitalize its naval forces to a much larger degree, its deployments to the Mediterranean contribute more to symbolic and diplomatic activity than being a viable military counterweight to NATO in the region. Yet the Black Sea Fleet in the Med is a significant show of force and a diplomatic irritant and a potential threat to shipping in the Suez Canal and to America’s ally Israel.

The increased Russian naval presence in the region means that the Kremlin is seeking to cultivate Syria as a close regional ally, and is looking to secure additional bases for the Black Sea Fleet besides its current base in the Black Sea port of Sevastopol.

In addition, Russia would also be able to deploy electronic intelligence-gathering ships that could then improve its monitoring capabilities against NATO forces and Syria’s ability to monitor NATO and Israeli transmissions, expanding the previous naval intelligence engagement during the Balkan wars.

Finally, Russian naval forces could deter or disrupt Israeli naval or air assets deployed in wartime against Syria or Hezbollah in Lebanon.
