Is Obama worried about his identity as a Muslim?

Maybe? A little bit? Sort of?

This campaign strategy is very shameful and offensive fear-mongering says one of his supporters. It will cause him a seat for running a US presidential election. Because ever since the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center or the Twin Towers, Muslim and Arabs have become the number one villain in movies and television. In that case, Obama would be a primary suspect as one of suicide bombers?

The controversy caused by a photograph of Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama dressed in turban-topped African garb points to deeper anti-Muslim sentiment in U.S. society, some observers believe.

Obama, a Christian, has fought a whispering campaign from fringe elements that say he is a Muslim. The Democratic front-runner’s middle family name — Hussein — has been used by some to draw a link between him and late Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein.

Further attacks focusing on religion and identity seem likely as Obama becomes the favorite to win the Democratic nomination and compete in the November general election. The Tennessee Republican Party this week put out a news release featuring the Obama photo, headlined “Anti-Semites for Obama” and referring to the Democrat as “Sen. Barack Hussein Obama.”

Identify yourself with some movie queen and see where you’ll be. Identify yourself with some cowboy or some teenager and see where you’ll be. But I challenge every Christian; identify yourself with Jesus Christ in His death and His resurrection and see where you’ll be at the resurrection. Today, politicians may identify in different religions and sects even in Muslims for the purpose of casting their votes.

In the Old Testament when a man wants to be identified at the house of God, he took the most innocent thing he could find: a lamb. And he know the lamb was free from sin, And he went, and took the lamb, and put his hand upon its head, and confessed his sin; and by faith he transferred his sins on the lamb, and the innocence of the lamb back on him. And then the lamb died because it was a sinner. And the man lived by an act of faith of obeying what God said.

It’s an act of faith, if we are Christians be proud of being a Christian, if Muslims, be proud of being a muslim; and be faithful on their teachings.
