Its Geographical area is very great at 224,961 square miles (582,646 km²), Kenya is the world’s forty-seventh largest country (after Madagascar). From the coast on the Indian Ocean the Low plains rise to central highlands. The highlands are bisected by the Great Rift Valley; a fertile plateau in the west. The Kenyan Highlands comprise one of the most successful agricultural production regions in Africa.
Kenya has considerable land area of wildlife habitat, including the Masai Mara, where blue wildebeest and other bovids participate in a large scale annual migration.
This country may have enough enriched natural resources like oil and with a good environment to live. But the citizens of this good country are suffering from a dilemma. Why? It’s because of their government. The government to protect is a government to kill it’s own people. Not enough food nor shelter, no education neither government projects? and the citizens of this land considered themselves also as refugees in their own homeland. What a heck to see and to know that leaders not only in Kenya who is in power are not serving the people but for themselves!
A week of postelection violence has left at least 250,000 people homeless, shattering the East African country’s image as a haven for those fleeing conflict.
“I can’t believe it. We’re refugees in our own land,” said Dan Mugambi, a 35-year-old teacher who was among about 15,000 people sheltering in a primary school compound in the North Rift Valley village of Kachibora. “This has never happened here before.”
